New telephone system
We are pleased to announce our new telephone system will be in place on Thursday 16th May. The phone lines may be unavailable for a short period at 10am during the transfer. If you are unable to wait during this time, please call 111.
You will have new options to choose from when calling us, so please be sure to listen to them carefully.
The new phone system significantly expands the number of calls so that you shouldn’t get an engaged tone. It has excellent call queuing and call-back features. The system will also directly link to your records, speeding up the time it takes for our team to handle your call.
The new system combined with our, soon to arrive, high quality triage and care navigation system developed by our senior clinicians, aims to improve patient experience and help patients get true modern general practice access.
As with all new systems, it may take our team a little time to become experienced in all the functions which can improve efficiency. We ask for your patience and understanding during this change, which is designed to make booking appointments as user friendly as possible.
